Requirements
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Have an active bar license in California.
- Have 3–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Be able to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial.
- Have prior insurance defense experience; this is listed as preferred.
- Be familiar with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case strategies.
- Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
- Handle discovery, motions, and case management.
- Communicate consistently and professionally with clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels.
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys.
