Requirements

  • Significant product management experience building and launching consumer products at large scale.
  • Demonstrated zero-to-one ownership, from framing ambiguous problems and setting strategy to writing requirements, shipping, learning, and iterating.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to negotiate high-stakes tradeoffs with Legal, Engineering, Data, Safety/Policy, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and first-principles problem solving.
  • Ability to distinguish legal requirements from interpretations and convert ambiguity into decision frameworks.

  • Familiarity with ML/model-based classification and the product implications of false positives, false negatives, appeals, and verification fallbacks is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, roadmap, requirements, launch, and measurable outcomes for Youth product initiatives.
  • Build and evolve age-assurance and third-party age-verification flows, including recovery and appeal experiences.
  • Develop youth-specific protections and controls, including age-gated content, parental controls, and restrictions on product mechanics where required.
  • Translate global regulations into product frameworks with Legal and Policy, clarifying requirements, deadlines, consequences, country exceptions, and options.
  • Make tradeoffs among compliance, user experience, product value, technical complexity, and speed, and escalate with clear evidence.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data/ML, Design, Research, Safety, Policy, Legal, and Product teams to ship solutions.
  • Define success metrics and launch guardrails, monitor false positives, false negatives, and user friction, and iterate using data and qualitative feedback.
  • Communicate strategy, risks, decisions, and progress to senior stakeholders, including Product leadership.
