Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in a similar or related engineering role.
- Have experience with large-scale software build tools such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, Please, CMake, Make, Ninja, or SCons.
- Have experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Buildkite, Spinnaker, or other enterprise CI/CD tools.
- Be able to design complex tools using Python and Bash.
- Preferred: experience writing Starlark for build system customization.
- Preferred: strong experience with C/C++ tooling, compilation, and linking processes.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify and address pain points in development, test, and release cycles.
- Debug complex problems between application layers and low-level infrastructure.
- Identify and execute code, design, and process improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan work, identify risks, resolve issues, and deliver on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship through documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
