Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred or in progress.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger management.
- Experience with Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting system.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-review work for accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across different entities or workstreams.
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction accounting environment preferred.
- Exposure to intercompany accounting and group consolidation processes preferred.
- Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian, UAE, US, or ANZ accounting and tax requirements preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments, during the monthly close.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support delivery of the close pack within 10 working days of month end.
- Maintain assigned entities' general ledgers in Xero and process intercompany transactions and recharges.
- Support group consolidation by submitting accurate entity data on time.
- Process vendor invoices, coordinate payment runs, track outstanding receivables, and reconcile supplier statements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and provide cash balance and banking information to FP&A.
- Post payroll journals and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare schedules and transaction data for tax filings, statutory accounts, and audit queries.
- Respond to finance queries and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and HR on entity-related matters.
