Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3–5 years of applicable IT or healthcare experience required.
- Epic Beaker certification or accreditation required.
- Epic implementation experience preferred.
- Multiple Epic certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and technology.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology.
- Cross-application integration knowledge.
- Strong desktop tool usage, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems and understand customer needs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex technical issues and system errors using troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to EHR end-users.
- Guide and perform routine maintenance, including software updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Assist with coordinating testing and validation for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Lead efforts to optimize EHR performance and usability based on system functionality and user workflows.
- Coordinate with IT professionals, clinicians, administrators, and vendors on EHR initiatives and projects.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, and establish knowledge-sharing practices.
- Train and mentor junior analysts and end-users.
