Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- At least 3 years of project management experience.
- Direct experience managing projects using the Microsoft Data Stack, particularly Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within agreed scope.
- Experience guiding project teams, coordinating resources, and maintaining accountability.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into project plans and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL database queries, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and IT delivery approaches, including Agile.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, client relationship, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: PMP, CAPM, or CSM project management certification.
- Preferred: Microsoft or data analytics certifications, particularly in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure.
- Preferred: Consulting or client-facing data and analytics delivery experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead data and analytics projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and risks.
- Guide and support cross-functional project teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability.
- Build client relationships, understand business objectives, and provide guidance on analytics solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements through stakeholder interviews and process reviews.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate solution design and implementation to align with business objectives and quality standards.
- Oversee data integration from multiple sources and ensure data is ready for reporting and analysis.
- Guide development of dashboards and reports, particularly for Power BI implementations.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, user training, and ongoing client support.
- Review deliverables for quality and communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
