- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Bring production-level Python, PyTorch, and Transformers experience.
- Have experience with LLM evaluation, training, or prompt engineering.
- Communicate clearly in writing about failed experiments and uncertainty.
- Have a track record of validating model outputs rather than assuming they are correct.

- Knowledge of intermediate representation design, constraint solving, SAT/SMT, or domain-specific languages is a plus.
- Be comfortable collaborating across disciplines, working through ambiguity, and attending in-person offsites several times per year.
Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline to parse clinical standards, transform their content, and validate executable modules.
- Design and refine a target syntax for representing guideline logic.
- Evaluate open and closed models, fine-tuning approaches, and constrained decoding techniques.
- Develop benchmarks, metrics, and adversarial cases for source fidelity, logical completeness, and recommendation correctness.
- Analyze model failures and turn them into research hypotheses, experiments, and improvements to the production compiler.
- Develop deterministic validators using static analysis, constraint solving, or formal methods to identify ambiguity, contradiction, and missing source information.
- Collaborate with clinicians and technical teammates to validate clinical logic and system outputs.
