Requirements
- Have experience as a Database Administrator supporting TOTVS Protheus ERP environments.
- Bring technical expertise in Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server administration, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Have experience managing production, testing, and development database environments.
- Have hands-on experience with database performance monitoring, SQL query optimization, index management, database tuning, and performance troubleshooting.
- Know backup and recovery strategies, data integrity, database security, access management, and auditing.
- Have experience with TOTVS Protheus infrastructure components, particularly DBAccess and AppServer installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Be familiar with database migrations, version upgrades, environment updates, and capacity planning.
- Have experience monitoring and resolving database jobs, blocking sessions, deadlocks, and database growth issues.
- Be able to collaborate with infrastructure, development, and functional consulting teams and provide technical support.
- Be available to work remotely from Brazil under a PJ (independent contractor) arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server environments associated with TOTVS Protheus ERP.
- Manage production, testing, and development database environments to support availability, stability, integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor database performance, resource consumption, availability, and capacity, and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Execute, validate, and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, database configurations, and critical processes.
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of Protheus environments, including DBAccess and AppServer components.
- Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support database migrations, version upgrades, environment updates, and database transfers.
- Monitor database jobs, blocking sessions, deadlocks, and database growth.
- Implement and maintain database security policies, access controls, and auditing procedures.
