Job Details

Have 8+ years of backend Java experience.
Be fluent with the modern JVM ecosystem, including Spring Boot or similar, build tooling, and testing.
Bring depth in concurrency, correctness under load, and API design.
Work independently and asynchronously in a remote setup.
Report progress through pull requests, recorded-screen-share demos, and up-to-date project boards.
Use AI/LLMs to support delivery of your work.
Kotlin knowledge is a plus.
Interest in occasionally contributing to TypeScript/React work is welcome.

Design, build, and maintain backend services in modern Java (17+).
Help shape the services' architecture.
Make decisions about API design, data modeling, concurrency, performance, and related trade-offs.
Collaborate directly with clients and teammates from feature discussions through deployment.
Review pull requests and give feedback to keep the codebase reliable and maintainable.
Contribute ideas beyond assigned tickets.
