Requirements
- Have 3+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience.
- Bring production-grade SQL experience across Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or modern cloud data warehouses.
- Have a production track record building and maintaining resilient ETL/ELT data pipelines and optimized analytical structures.
- Have database security experience, including RBAC, Row-Level Security, and dynamic data masking for PII protection.
- Have hands-on experience tuning complex queries for low-latency analytical workloads.
- Have a strong foundation in Kimball dimensional modeling and semantic layers such as dbt.
- Have advanced written and spoken English fluency for daily direct client collaboration.
- Bonus: experience with orchestration platforms such as Airflow or Prefect, vector databases, or RAG frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design semantic models, including facts, dimensions, and metrics stores, using tools such as dbt.
- Build curated analytical views and production ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Optimize query performance, indexing, and schema definitions for low-latency analytical workloads.
- Analyze query logs to guide performance improvements.
- Implement RBAC, Row-Level Security, and dynamic data masking to protect PII.
- Establish data quality, pipeline monitoring, and anonymization standards across analytical layers.
- Collaborate with AI engineering teams to align data structures with RAG architectures and Agentic AI workflows.
