Requirements
- Have strong Angular and TypeScript skills.
- Have a solid grasp of reactive state management, such as NgRx or an equivalent.
- Write tests as part of the development and shipping process.
- Be comfortable owning Node.js/ExpressJS services, including proactive development, maintenance, and debugging.
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code to support work while directing, critiquing, and owning the output.
- Make architectural trade-offs consciously and explain them plainly.
- Complete a 2–3 hour take-home challenge using Angular, NgRx, and a public API.
- Provide a written log of AI interactions and judgment calls made during the take-home challenge, and be able to explain every line.
Responsibilities
- Build Angular applications using NgRx state management, including actions, reducers, selectors, and effects.
- Develop merchant portals, checkout flows, and consumer-facing product UIs.
- Use TypeScript in strict mode and build responsive, mobile-first interfaces.
- Write component tests with Jest.
- Own Node.js/ExpressJS services, including their development, maintenance, and debugging.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product colleagues in a squad-based setup.
