Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production React and TypeScript applications.
- Understand React rendering, hooks, state management, and component composition.
- Have strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
- Apply responsive design, accessibility, and visual-quality considerations.
- Have experience integrating REST APIs and managing server state using TanStack Query or comparable tools.
- Have experience writing frontend tests across unit, component, and end-to-end levels.
- Have evidence of owning complex frontend features from requirements through release.
- Demonstrate product judgment and the ability to make progress when requirements are incomplete.
- Bring a proactive approach, strong ownership, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with Vite, Tailwind CSS, Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright is a plus.
- Experience with design systems, shadcn/ui, and Motion or Framer Motion is a plus.
- Go or Python experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces for complex enterprise workflows and data-intensive screens.
- Translate designs into product experiences, including loading, empty, and error states.
- Develop composable, maintainable components and contribute to shared UI patterns and design systems.
- Make decisions about state ownership, rendering, and component design.
- Integrate REST APIs using TanStack Query, managing caching, mutations, and data consistency.
- Write automated tests and resolve interface performance bottlenecks.
- Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to clarify requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver features from concept through release.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering standards, and support backend work when needed.
