Requirements
- Have 8–10+ years of experience across DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Have experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Bring strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and hybrid/on-prem environments.
- Have a proven track record self-hosting and operating open-source infrastructure tools in production.
- Have a solid grounding in security and privacy engineering.
- Have experience with Kubernetes, Terraform or Ansible, and modern CI/CD.
- Have strong Linux administration and scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Be able to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate secure, highly available infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Own MongoDB Atlas provisioning, scaling, backups, and performance tuning.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible.
- Apply security practices including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Evaluate, self-host, upgrade, patch, and maintain open-source infrastructure tools.
- Build observability stacks for metrics, logs, and traces, and define SLIs and SLOs.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality and security gates, and manage Kubernetes-based container orchestration.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for major incidents and lead blameless postmortems.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three DevOps engineers.
