Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Business Development Manager within residential care, focused on young adults or complex care services.
- Demonstrate success developing new services.
- Demonstrate experience tendering for properties.
- Demonstrate experience collaborating with commissioners.
- Have strong communication skills and confidence working with internal and external professionals.
Responsibilities
- Market and develop new and existing services in collaboration with Operational Management, Divisional Directors, Finance teams, and the Group Executive.
- Drive occupancy rates across social care settings.
- Work with Registered Managers to support the end-to-end referral process.
- Build relationships with local and health commissioning authorities.
- Oversee contract bids, tenders, and frameworks.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and promote the client’s values and standards.
- Support marketing efforts and contribute to PR activities.
- Work with finance teams on appropriate fees and payment terms.
