Requirements
- Hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Have an active bar license in the State of California.
- Bring 8+ years of litigation experience, specifically in general liability insurance defense and insurance coverage matters.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
- Have strong experience handling insurance defense cases, particularly general liability and coverage issues.
- Be proficient in time management systems.
- Have strong proficiency in MS Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Be able to think independently and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes and strategies to counter plaintiff arguments of sympathy or anger.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Maintain a high standard in all facets of practice.
- Collaborate with attorneys at all experience levels.
- Maintain routine communications with clients.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys.
