Requirements
- Demonstrate strong Linux proficiency and experience working in Linux production environments using command-line systems.
- Be able to design, write, and modify Python and shell scripts for infrastructure diagnostics, automation, and validation workflows; these scripting skills are required after initial training.
- Bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate and improve validation and testing methodologies.
- Document work performed, including commands executed, observations, and outcomes.
- Have familiarity with infrastructure automation or configuration management frameworks such as Ansible; this is strongly preferred.
- Understand data center networking concepts and protocols such as DHCP, IPv6, and ICMP.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on automation solutions, reliability improvements, and production-ready tooling.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated diagnostic, validation, and remediation frameworks for production NVIDIA and AMD GPU hardware.
- Build and support Python-based agents, services, APIs, and Ansible automation for hardware provisioning, telemetry, health monitoring, and production onboarding.
- Analyze workload performance, utilization, thermals, and diagnostic output to identify hardware and system issues.
- Execute and improve testing and verification processes for production onboarding and Return Material Authorization (RMA).
- Build tooling that gates hardware deployment, enforces quality standards, and reduces infrastructure risk.
- Document system designs, automation logic, validation methods, and operational guidance; maintain Jira records of engineering activities and outcomes.
- Identify gaps in testing, validation, and automation processes and develop technical solutions with engineering teams.
