Responsibilities
- Identify and order the materials and quantities needed for manufacturing and shipment.
- Negotiate pricing and shipment terms with suppliers.
- Oversee timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Maintain inventory and schedule receipt of raw material shipments and manufacturing.
- Assess current orders and forecast future supply needs.
- Respond to changes in supply and demand and solve supply chain problems.
- Communicate with customers about orders to avoid unforeseen changes or surprises.
- Input and process orders, submit supplier and customer documentation, and oversee billing paperwork.
