Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 6 or more years of ML engineering experience, including significant work on edge or mobile AI.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Have hands-on experience with model compression, quantization, and pruning.
- Have experience with at least one major edge inference framework.
- Understand mobile and embedded hardware architectures.
- Have deployed ML models to production on mobile or embedded platforms.
- Have performance engineering and profiling skills.
- Be familiar with on-device privacy and security considerations.
- Experience with custom NPU or DSP toolchains is preferred.
- Familiarity with federated learning, on-device personalization, safety-critical or industrial edge deployments, or on-device LLM inference is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design machine learning models for resource-constrained edge devices.
- Optimize models using compression, quantization, and hardware-aware techniques.
- Deploy machine learning models to production on mobile or embedded platforms.
- Profile and improve performance under compute, memory, energy, and connectivity constraints.
- Ship reliable AI capabilities outside the data center.
