Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience in data analytics.
- Have preferably led a team for 3+ years.
- Have at least 2 hours available each week during core team hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in any US time zone.
- Bring some experience with Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Google Ads, or similar tools.
- Have a stable schedule for the next 6 months, or professional-grade schedule management.
- Be willing to work with and support other volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead the 15+ person team of data scientists and analysts in implementing the analytics strategy.
- Define key analytics indicators for reporting to the rest of the team.
- Make reports and regular dashboards available to the strategy team and other stakeholder teams.
- Find stories in the data about how voters use WeVote.
- Work with the product team to design and build features based on observed usage patterns.
- Provide reports about voter activity for specific elections.
- Interview volunteers interested in joining the team.
