Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Have eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
- Bring deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
- Have a strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
- Have experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
- Understand containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
- Hold a cloud architecture certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
- Have a track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
- Complete the mandatory technical coding assessment.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud solutions covering compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability.
- Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives.
- Define cloud landing zones, account structures, and tagging strategies.
- Establish reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns for engineering teams.
- Architect security, identity, and compliance controls within the cloud foundation.
- Design networking topologies, including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, and private endpoints.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives.
- Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices with finance and engineering teams.
- Produce architecture artifacts, including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and decision records.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery.
