Have 8+ years of full-time, relevant industry experience.
Have expertise building backend or full-stack applications.
Have hands-on experience with data, including SQL, data engineering, or analytics engineering, or developing internal data applications.
Be able to drive cross-functional projects, including alignment, collaboration, and rollout with partner teams and users.
Bring a focus on high-quality code and robust systems, including observability and reliability.
Bring an interest in building interactive user experiences and engaging with users.
Experience building AI agents, context engineering, or AI harnesses is a plus.
Frontend expertise with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React is a plus.
Experience with big data technologies such as Airflow, Spark, or Trino is a plus.

Build features that support user workflows in Superset, the AI agent for Data, and Notebooks.
Improve Airbnb’s AI-powered data analytics tools by researching industry practices and AI advancements.
Integrate data products with Airbnb’s data platform, including metric infrastructure, data management, and data warehouse services.
Engage with product users, gather feedback, and collaborate with product managers.
Drive projects end to end, including feature rollout plans and migrations.
Identify quality and architecture improvements to enhance testability, observability, and reliability.
Review code and technical designs.
Provide lightweight on-call support for users and team operations.
