Requirements
- Have 7+ years of relevant product design experience, ideally in enterprise software or SaaS B2C or B2B products.
- Have 2+ years of experience mentoring other designers.
- Deliver high-quality work in an Agile, fast-paced environment.
- Use test-and-learn methods to measure and refine designs based on user and market data.
- Have experience attracting, hiring, mentoring, and retaining top talent.
- Bring strong project management abilities.
- Have experience working with a distributed development team.
- Balance speed, quality, and taking on risky but interesting work.
Responsibilities
- Lead, oversee, and grow a team of product designers through vision, direction, mentorship, and inspiration.
- Promote best practices in UX and UI, interaction design, and visual design.
- Define and align designers on a design system for cohesive user experiences.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and go-to-market teams to identify business opportunities and user needs.
- Initiate and support discovery initiatives for informed decisions about new features and enhancements.
- Use quantitative and qualitative research to understand and meet users' observability needs.
- Deliver user experiences that improve usability across web and mobile applications.
- Set standards for design excellence through the design system, principles, and guidelines.
- Work with product management, product engineering, communications, marketing, and senior leadership to deliver effective work.
