Requirements
- Have 5+ experience in telecom or digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Have back-end technology experience, such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Have strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Be proficient in business process modelling tools and techniques.
- Have familiarity with Business Support Systems (BSS).
- Understand Agile practices and frameworks.
- Be willing to travel 50% of the time to countries including Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
- Hold a valid passport for the contract.
- Be fluent in English; French, Swahili, or Portuguese proficiency is an advantage.
- Provide an updated CV highlighting telecom or digital transformation experience, a project portfolio, and telecom industry references.
- Professional certifications such as AWS, PMI, or ITIL are listed as documentation for the position.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable systems using front-end and back-end technologies.
- Work with telecommunications systems to enhance functionality and performance.
- Design software architecture to meet business and technical requirements.
- Apply UI/UX principles to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Manage API gateways to support integration and communication between services.
- Implement data transformation processes for system integration.
- Collaborate with third-party services to enhance system capabilities.
