Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have genuine depth in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Be comfortable taking direction, incorporating feedback, and working independently without close supervision.
- Adapt to a small-company pace and ambiguity.
- Use AI coding tools productively while catching and correcting their mistakes.
- Vite experience is a plus.
- Prior experience at a smaller, fast-moving company is a plus.
- Backend exposure to Java, Scala, or C# is a bonus, not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Own front-end features end to end, from UI/UX implementation through shipping, using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React with Vite.
- Work on UI services that consume shared backend services and present data to users.
- Handle non-architectural tickets such as form changes and UX changes supporting new backend features.
- Collaborate with the backend-leaning engineering team to integrate front-end work with core product services.
- Use AI development tools in the workflow and verify the work they produce.
