Requirements
- Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Be board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of starting.
- Hold an active Washington state medical license.
- Be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care and virtual team supervision.
- Have experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.
- Demonstrate the ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting.
- Work a minimum of 32 clinical hours per week.
- Be available for evening and weekend coverage, with a minimum of 8 hours per month.
- Be available for schedules that may fall between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time, any day of the week.
- Provide periodic in-person care at the home market location, typically 1 week per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual visits for acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health primary care needs.
- Establish patient relationships that support continuity of care.
- Coordinate care with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians.
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous learning.
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues on a virtual care team.
- Contribute to virtual panel-building workflows and best practices.
- Build and maintain a sustainable patient panel and meet schedule utilization benchmarks.
- Provide periodic in-person care at the home market location, typically 1 week per quarter.
