Requirements
- Hold an active Licensed Professional Counselor license in Mississippi.
- Have a master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Have experience providing therapy or counseling services.
- Demonstrate strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled one-on-one counseling sessions by video.
- Review client history and discuss current concerns.
- Guide therapy sessions based on the issues being addressed.
- Help clients develop practical ways to manage difficult situations.
- Maintain accurate and current clinical notes.
- Follow up on changes that may require additional attention.
- Refer clients to additional services when necessary.
- Follow Mississippi LPC licensing and practice requirements.
