Requirements
- Have 5+ years of proven success in a similar role leading a business unit, business development, or business growth function.
- Have experience at a blockchain or crypto company, financial institution, or bank.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of local communities and the crypto space.
- Be fluent in Russian and English.
- Kazakh is strongly preferred.
- Bring a strong work ethic and commitment to results.
- Demonstrate a team-player approach and a problem-solving, results-driven mindset.
- Have a passion for crypto and digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Set up, sustain, and manage the local fiat business and fiat operations, including product localisation.
- Support the business on regulatory matters and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Collect feedback from local users and communities, along with competitor insights, to optimise the service offering.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with local fiat partners, blockchain and crypto communities, and industry associations.
- Develop fiat-related partnerships, including fiat on-ramp providers and KYC vendors.
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies to grow fiat volumes, including content and promotion strategies.
- Maintain relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners.
- Lead local fiat growth and other business development activities.
