Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA/Master's degree.
- 8+ years of experience within an indirect procurement team.
- Significant experience managing software purchasing and supplier negotiations.
- 4+ years of people management experience.
- Experience developing category strategies and managing complex software supplier relationships.
- Ability to analyze spend data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Legal contract experience.
- Ability to build stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making across business functions.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones, including Pacific Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead global software category initiatives and manage a team of procurement analysts.
- Develop and execute a software category management strategy and roadmap.
- Manage software renewals, sourcing initiatives, supplier engagements, and the forward-looking pipeline.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the global Legal team to meet vendor compliance and requirements.
- Analyze software spend, market trends, licensing models, and supplier landscapes to identify savings and value optimization.
- Build partnerships with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and business teams to guide procurement decisions.
- Lead supplier negotiations, vendor performance management, and sourcing activities.
- Ensure deals within scope comply with company purchasing policy.
- Lead and develop the team through career planning, mentorship, and professional development.
