Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of finance experience, including accounting, FP&A, and systems.
- Have experience in a rapidly scaling fintech environment.
- Bring a background in financial modeling and projections.
- Be a pro user of Excel and Google Sheets and have experience with a modern finance stack.
- Understand the nuances of accounting with startup investing.
- Have a track record of working successfully with cross-functional teams.
- Be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bring a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to solving complex problems.
- Interest in or experience in the venture capital industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations for a fast-growing startup.
- Forecast and budget.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and payroll.
- Assist with hiring, benefits, and human resources.
- Work closely with the fund accounting and finance team.
- Provide financial reports to the leadership team and Board.
- Manage state and federal compliance and reporting.
- Implement accounting and other finance software systems.
- Manage the cap table.
