Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience in web development, primarily focused on Drupal.
- Strong custom Drupal module development skills in PHP.
- Hands-on experience with Content Moderation and Workflows.
- Expertise in role-based permissions.
- Experience with JSON:API.
- Ability to successfully obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
- Experience with Drupal 11.x and advanced knowledge of Drupal architecture and modules.
- Experience architecting enterprise-scale Drupal implementations.
- Knowledge of configuration management, deployment strategies, Drupal multisite architecture, content modeling, and migrations.
- Experience with performance optimization, caching, security hardening, API development and integration, automated testing, and quality assurance.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, AWS ECS/ECR, Composer, Git, and front-end technologies including React, Angular, JavaScript, and CSS.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-scale Drupal implementations and multisite deployments.
- Design, build, and modify multi-step workflows for review and approval by different user roles.
- Maintain email and in-app notification templates, updating timing, recipients, and messaging as workflows change.
- Design and implement content architectures, taxonomies, and data models.
- Provide hands-on development support to the Drupal delivery team and mentor Drupal engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs.
- Support technical strategies for Drupal development, customer modules, and enterprise integration.
- Provide technical oversight for security hardening and performance optimization.
- Review and optimize Drupal implementations and deployments, and support CI/CD pipeline deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, UX, product, and cross-functional teams to integrate Drupal solutions into the platform.
