Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Be an Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or be on the track to become one.
- Have 3+ years of experience in a related field.
- Use SQL and Python to expand actuarial frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate accruals for monthly close related to IBNR claims, risk adjustment, and/or Shared Savings deals.
- Use SQL and Python to expand existing frameworks and provide insights and resources for other Actuarial teams.
- Contribute to reviewing and submitting regulatory filings.
- Investigate drivers of observed trends and provide information for financial planning.
- Promote actuarial best practices in automation and documentation.
- Maintain relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Help onboard analysts by integrating them into existing processes.
