- Have 2+ years of classroom experience teaching elementary school mathematics.
- Have experience in K–12 assessment development.
- Bring experience collaborating on time-sensitive projects.
- Be interested in using new AI tools as assistants in content creation.
- Bring project management skills, including fluency with Google Docs and spreadsheets, and willingness to learn new tools.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Bring strong time management skills.
- Demonstrate cross-cultural competency, self-awareness, awareness of others, and inclusive perspectives and behaviors.
- Nice to have: middle school teaching and assessment experience.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality K–12 assessment content by executing on assessment blueprints.
- Use and contribute to improvements in content and item management systems.
- Ensure assessment items align with state standards and item-development best practices.
- Collaborate with content teammates and product, design, and engineering teams.
- Develop more engaging, interactive, and informative assessments for students.
- Innovate with new item types made possible by AI technologies.
