Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects across multiple technical disciplines.
- Advanced leadership, mentoring, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in workforce planning, resource management, and organizational development.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred: Experience in a nonprofit or DoD government contracting environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with DoD standards, policies, and procedures.
- Preferred: Experience supporting business development, proposal writing, and capture management.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction to teams across multiple technical disciplines and align their work with organizational goals.
- Partner across the company to support business objectives and collaboration between divisions.
- Oversee project and program execution, including staffing, resourcing, deadlines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to deliver technical solutions.
- Lead recruiting, workforce planning, employee development, mentoring, and training strategies.
- Optimize the use of technology, engineering policies, and other resources to meet program requirements.
- Develop labor forecasts and align labor goals with program managers.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical input and resources for business capture efforts and proposals.
