- Have 4+ years of experience as a credit-focused analyst or data scientist at a fintech or bank.
- Demonstrate expert SQL proficiency.
- Be able to navigate complex data warehouse relationships.
- Take initiative and operate with a high degree of independence.
- Be able to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to generate insights on lending product performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
- Monitor and optimize KPIs related to credit risk.
- Develop strategies to mitigate credit risk while supporting business growth.
- Work with product managers and developers to guide the development of new credit products.
- Use data-driven insights to influence product strategy and design.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Stay current with data analytics tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
- Identify ways to improve data analysis processes and credit product offerings.
