Requirements
- Have strong professional experience in backend development, preferably at a senior level.
- Have advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Have hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Know PostgreSQL database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Have experience using the ELK Stack for application logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Have practical experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Have working knowledge of AWS services and cloud environments.
- Understand encryption techniques, authentication methods, and backend security practices.
- Have experience with Redis for caching or data management.
- Bring analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Be able to work independently, manage technical priorities, and contribute to scalable backend solutions.
- Nice to have experience with Celery for asynchronous task processing and background jobs.
- Nice to have familiarity with WebSockets for real-time communication and application functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, including data structures, indexing, and query optimization.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for application functionality and system integrations.
- Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and system efficiency.
- Implement and maintain logging and monitoring solutions using the ELK Stack.
- Use Docker to containerize applications and maintain consistent development environments.
- Support application deployment and infrastructure-related tasks using AWS services.
- Apply encryption, authentication, and security best practices to protect applications and sensitive data.
- Implement and optimize caching and data management solutions using Redis.
- Troubleshoot backend issues and performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with technical teams on code quality and reliability.
