Requirements
- Be a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Have a minimum of two years of clinical experience; pain management experience is preferred.
- Have hands-on experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Understand Windows desktops and applications, including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Excel.
- Work in a HIPAA-compliant area at home.
- Have high-speed internet and a desktop or laptop running Windows or Mac; Chromebooks, iPads, and tablets are not accepted.
- Demonstrate initiative, judgment, organization, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Have strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Be able to prioritize responsibilities and work independently.
- Have clear diction and demonstrate phone etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly telephonic encounters with patients on behalf of practice partners.
- Follow the care plans and orders of the practice.
- Provide prevention and intervention for multiple disease conditions through motivational coaching.
- Build positive interactions with patients on behalf of the practices.
- Support chronic condition management and understand the health care goals associated with it.
- Complete due diligence measures for assigned patients and bill eligible encounters.
- Review charts, make contact attempts, coordinate care, and document and bill services.
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings, including staff meetings and one-on-ones.
