Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in backend engineering or full-stack development with a strong backend focus.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Practical frontend development experience with React or Next.js and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, REST API design, and database performance optimization.
- Understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable, maintainable systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Active use of AI-powered development tools and agentic coding workflows, such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Ability to make independent technical decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Experience designing technical architecture, establishing engineering processes, or building infrastructure at an early-stage product company is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead product features through ideation, design, implementation, release, and performance analysis.
- Research market trends and competitors, identify opportunities, and propose features to improve user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, and contribute to frontend development with React or Next.js when needed.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead on software architecture, system design, and technical decisions.
- Design, implement, and evolve cloud infrastructure and engineering solutions for reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Help develop an AI-native engineering environment using AI agents and agentic coding tools.
- Establish and improve automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows.
- Own technical initiatives and identify opportunities to improve product development quality and efficiency.
