Experience
Minimum of 6 months of translation experience in video games, board games or similar creative fields.

Requirements

  • Be a native speaker of Swedish.
  • Be fluent in English to communicate by email with project managers and participate in a video interview with the Vendor Manager.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of translation experience in video games, board games, or similar creative fields.
  • Be able to issue invoices.
  • Freelance registration is recommended.
  • Experience in subtitling is beneficial.
  • Experience in LQA is beneficial.
  • Be available to cover the 9-5 CET time zone at least partially.

Responsibilities

  • Translate full video game titles into Swedish.
  • Translate game updates into Swedish, sometimes in cooperation with other translators.
  • Translate marketing texts related to games.
  • Translate promotional materials related to games.
  • Proofread other translators’ work.
  • Check translated text to ensure it is of the best quality.
