Requirements
- At least five years of proven system administration and database administration experience.
- Substantial hands-on experience managing Linux servers.
- At least five years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle databases.
- Experience managing virtualized infrastructure, virtual machines, and hypervisors; KVM, Proxmox, and VMware are preferred.
- Experience analyzing logs, monitoring server health, diagnosing incidents, and resolving performance issues.
- Knowledge of backup and restoration, disaster recovery, infrastructure security, and business continuity practices.
- Practical experience with storage infrastructure and understanding of SAN architectures, volumes, LUNs, and multipath configurations.
- Experience with high-availability environments and clustered infrastructure.
- Interest or experience in infrastructure automation using generative AI and AI agents; Bash, Python, and Ansible are advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate English skills for reading technical documentation, writing, and professional conversations.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux servers in critical production environments.
- Configure and maintain virtual machines, hypervisors, and virtualization infrastructure using KVM, Proxmox, and VMware.
- Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments.
- Diagnose and tune performance across servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and operating environments.
- Implement security policies, backups, restoration procedures, disaster recovery practices, and business continuity measures.
- Configure and maintain enterprise storage, including SAN architectures, volumes, LUNs, and multipath configurations.
- Investigate infrastructure incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain scripts and automated operational routines.
- Collaborate with development, database, networking, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Evaluate generative AI tools and AI agents for administration, diagnostics, observability, and operational optimization.
