Requirements
- Have prior hands-on development experience with the Gaudi AI accelerator software stack, including the Gaudi PyTorch bridge.
- Demonstrate strong C++ and Python skills.
- Have Python testing experience with pytest and the PyTorch test framework.
- Be familiar with PyTorch testing components including OpInfo, common_device_type / instantiate_device_type_tests, and common_utils.
- Have experience with PyTorch internals or the internals of another deep learning framework.
- Understand GPU or accelerator programming basics such as SYCL, CUDA, or OpenCL.
- Have debugging and profiling skills.
- Have CI experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Be familiar with Linux, Docker, and git, including git bisect.
- Understand deep learning and PyTorch fundamentals.
- Be familiar with dynamo benchmark suites.
Responsibilities
- Reproduce and root-cause framework bugs, then fix them in C++ or Python.
- Fix and extend tests in the PyTorch test framework and keep CI green.
- Implement operators, including complex, performance-critical paths.
- Debug and profile accelerator hardware to address performance and accuracy gaps.
- Take tasks end to end, from first reproduction to a merged upstream pull request.
- Track down regressions with git bisect and benchmark suites.
