Requirements
- Graduate of a university or college computer science program.
- Have a strong basis in building web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a superior command of English.
- Be eager to learn and apply new technologies.
- The posting lists experience with NGINX, Bootstrap, jQuery, Backbone, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Mocha, and Git.
- Provide a portfolio, demos, or published JavaScript code on GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and Backbone.js.
- Modify data and update structures in an SQL-type database.
- Review and complete assigned tickets, managing the feedback loop as needed.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and provide technical support by email and phone.
- Acknowledge and resolve customer requests within SLA targets.
- Debug reported application issues, then test and verify changes.
- Update and manage GitHub branches and changes.
- Use a Linux-based operating system to manage and deploy application changes via Docker.
- Contribute to product evolution and build knowledge to improve the support offering.
- Maintain security, confidentiality, and compliance when handling company systems, customer information, and internal processes.
