Requirements
- Have at least five years of relevant professional experience, excluding educational programs and internships.
- Have extensive hands-on experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and time series databases such as InfluxDB.
- Have strong networking knowledge, including IPv4 and IPv6.
- Have practical experience configuring notification mechanisms and escalation processes.
- Have foundational knowledge of Linux, Windows, and databases.
- Take a structured, independent approach to work.
- Pay close attention to technical documentation and implementation standards.
- Demonstrate practical technical expertise; product-specific certifications are less important than hands-on skills.
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- German language skills are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve monitoring infrastructure using Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and time series databases such as InfluxDB.
- Design, configure, and optimize alerting mechanisms and escalation procedures so incidents reach the appropriate teams promptly.
- Design and document network environments for customer and internal projects.
- Complete technical documentation before implementation.
- Review configurations independently, identify potential improvements, and recommend practical technical enhancements.
- Share technical knowledge and support the onboarding of new colleagues.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Collaborate with colleagues across technical areas to support broader team objectives.
