Requirements
- Have strong hands-on experience with CareFirstBridge and FEP claims processing.
- Have experience performing functional and end-to-end testing in healthcare claims environments.
- Understand healthcare claims workflows, claims lifecycle processes, and applicable business rules.
- Have experience developing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.
- Have experience performing software release, regression, and integration testing.
- Be able to identify, document, manage, and validate defects through resolution.
- Have familiarity with healthcare payer systems and claims processing technologies.
- Have experience working with defect management and testing tools.
- Be able to collaborate with business, development, and QA teams in a cross-functional environment.
- Agile methodologies and frameworks experience is preferred.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of CareFirstBridge and FEP claims processing functionality.
- Develop, document, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases.
- Validate claims processing functionality across software releases, system enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Verify system results against healthcare claims workflows, business rules, and expected outcomes.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
- Support release testing and confirm changes meet quality and functional expectations before deployment.
- Maintain testing documentation and report test progress, results, and outstanding issues.
- Contribute to testing practice improvements within an Agile delivery environment.
