Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Have a strong statistical background, including hypothesis testing, inference, and experimental design.
- Be proficient in SQL, Python 3, and R; all three are required.
- Have hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Have extensive experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Have a strong understanding of Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault data modeling methodologies.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Be based in Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Apply statistical methods to retail data.
- Turn complex data into reliable, actionable insight.
- Work with SQL, Python, and R on Databricks in a cloud environment.
- Design robust data structures using established modeling methodologies.
- Deliver work to production through CI/CD pipelines.
- Help define the new team's working practices and standards.
- Contribute to how statistical insight informs business decisions.
