Requirements
- Have 8-10 years of business and/or technical analysis experience in Workers’ Compensation or equivalent experience with policy, claims, or billing applications.
- Have 5+ years of data conversion experience.
- Bring strong SQL skills, including experience with SQL Server.
- Have experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Understand logical and physical data modeling.
- Have experience with ETL tools; Talend is preferred.
- Have experience with XML for data presentation and communication.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field; related work experience may substitute.
- Be available for occasional travel and on-site work at customer sites, based on project and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Apply industry knowledge to guide clients in business and process decisions.
- Lead business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost-benefit analysis.
- Define and document business requirements, scenarios, and processes for technical and domain stakeholders.
- Lead client mapping sessions and provide analysis and consultation during application conversion.
- Develop and maintain conversion load programs and validation processes.
- Work with clients to analyze, configure, and implement conversion processes and routines.
- Assist clients with running, configuring, and troubleshooting batch issues.
- Coordinate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure technically sound solutions.
- Document procedures and maintain conversion documentation.
- Support estimates, demonstrations, RFP responses, and gap analysis studies.
