- Strong hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Advanced DAX skills.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong knowledge of semantic and dimensional data modelling.
- Experience designing fact tables, dimensions, relationships, and star schemas.
- Proven experience defining and governing business KPIs.
- Experience owning BI or analytical products end to end.
- Strong data-validation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and challenge unclear or inconsistent business requirements.
- Professional English.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders.
- Translate business questions into KPIs, analytical models, and reporting solutions.
- Design and maintain business and semantic data models.
- Develop governed measures and calculations using DAX.
- Build dashboards, reports, and reusable analytical products in Power BI.
- Analyse data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Validate data, calculations, and conclusions with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering on data availability, structure, quality, and transformation requirements.
- Document semantic models, business definitions, KPIs, and analytical products.
- Prepare Power BI semantic models for AI-assisted and natural-language analytics.
