Requirements
- Bring 15+ years of consistent, hands-on experience as a Python engineer.
- Have proven recent experience as a Principal Engineer on large-scale projects.
- Set technical direction, align architecture with organisational strategy, and define and promote best practices.
- Drive adoption of technologies, programming languages, and version control systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in industry best practices, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Have expertise in testing tools and methodologies, including promoting QA best practices across multiple teams.
- Guide teams in integrating security into development and optimising performance and observability.
- Bring DevOps and CI/CD expertise, including operational best practices and continuous deployment improvements.
- Have experience operating and supporting software in production environments and solving complex problems.
- Demonstrate Agile methodology expertise and the ability to drive adoption and continuous improvement across teams.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline improvement are preferred.
Responsibilities
