Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, EconomicsMathematics, or a related technical or analytical discipline.
- 5+ years experience with a strong background in AI, software development, technology innovation, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience prototyping and developing software solutions using AI tools and AI-assisted development technologies.
- Strong practical knowledge of AI and AI agentic development tools (AI DLC) and their use in accelerating software development.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a technical or innovation-focused team.
- Understanding of software security, PII, security integrations, SOC audits, and related compliance considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to work hands-on and move quickly from concept to prototype.
- Experience in financial services or fintech is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead software development and promote high-quality, scalable, secure solutions and strong Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, infrastructure, and system design using AI-assisted development tools.
- Lead AI innovation through prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and evaluation of emerging AI technologies.
- Align engineering and product teams to support successful delivery.
- Manage, mentor, and provide technical leadership to an offshore development team.
- Establish team goals, KPIs, and performance expectations, and build capabilities in software development, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure software and AI solutions follow security, privacy, and compliance practices, applying knowledge of PII, security integrations, and SOC audits.
- Align development and technology strategies with business goals and revenue objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies and opportunities, champion data-driven decisions, and assess technology investments for measurable results.
