Requirements
- Have 5+ years of backend development experience with Java in production environments.
- Have strong hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Have experience with React or Angular and be comfortable contributing to full-stack conversations.
- Actively use AI coding assistants such as OpenCode, Ollama, Qwen3, or Claude Code, or equivalent tools.
- Use AI tools pragmatically for code generation, refactoring, unit test writing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Have previous team leadership experience, including guiding or mentoring engineers.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have great written and spoken English communication skills for collaboration and technical documentation.
- Bring software engineering fundamentals including clean code, testing, code review, and CI/CD practices.
- Show interest in software architecture, technical decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Be autonomous, proactive, curious about new technologies, and able to challenge assumptions constructively.
Responsibilities
- Build modern software products across projects as part of a small, cross-functional engineering team.
- Develop backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate across the full stack, including with React or Angular.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions.
- Use AI coding assistants for development, refactoring, unit testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Guide or mentor other engineers.
- Contribute to code quality and engineering best practices.
