Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Be proficient in at least one major programming language, such as SQL or Python, or a comparable language.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn a new language and master a schema language for data manipulation and report building.
- Have excellent written communication skills and experience contributing to internal knowledge bases and external user manuals.
- Be able to explain technical configurations clearly to diverse audiences in fluent English.
- Be able to break down complex data discrepancies and systematically reconfigure models for accuracy.
- A background in engineering, mathematics, software engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR data is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to end-to-end deployment of the Neara platform for utility customers.
- Ingest and manipulate LiDAR, GIS, and asset database datasets using Neara’s schema language and configuration framework.
- Perform QA/QC to ensure digital twins reflect real-world physics and customer specifications.
- Build custom platform reports and dashboards for utility engineers.
- Work with Product and Engineering to provide feedback on processes and tools for future deployments.
